Palm Beach Gymnastics Updates

5/29/2020

Dear Palm Beach Gymnastics Families,

As of June 1st, we are officially open with all of our new safety guidelines in place…

I  know many of you are happy that you can once again venture out and participate in at least some of your normal activities. However, we are in a new normal which requires a modification of much of our daily routines.  During our initial phase of re-opening, we will have special guidelines.  Here are some of the immediate changes that we are implementing in the gym:

  • All participants will have their temperature checked upon entering the facility.  Anyone with a temperature about 100.4 will not be allowed to enter.
  • Masks/Face coverings will be required by all parents/guardians, staff and coaches while in the facility.
  • Only 1 parent/guardian per child and limited siblings will be allowed in our facility at any time and we are requiring that all parents adhere to social distancing guidelines while in our facility.
  • Due to social distancing guidelines, physical spotting will be very limited.  While our goal is to maintain social distancing between students and coaches, there are times where spotting or incidental contact is necessary to keep our students safe and prevent injury.
  • We have completely updated our class schedule to adhere to the CDC protocols.  Please review the new schedule.  Here a link to our updated schedule: https://www.gymnasticspb.com/recclasses/
  • We will be sanitizing between classes as well as cleaning and disinfecting the entire facility nightly.

While we understand that many are ready to return to our facilities now, we also understand that not everyone is ready at this time.  We want to leave the option of returning up to the families. For those not ready to return just yet, please contact us so we can put your account on hold.  For all members ready to return, please review our new class listing and contact us via email or phone with the new class that you would like to attend.

Our primary goal is to keep our students and staff members safe and healthy during this transition back into the gym, and we will be going above and beyond the health guidelines to provide and maintain a safe environment.

Nobody knows how long this new normal may last. Until then, we feel that we are providing the safest possible environment for your child to enjoy gymnastics and all its benefits. Once again, welcome back!

Sincerely,

The Palm Beach Gymnastics Staff
